The World Stem Cell Summit and the Future of Health Care

The future of health care is at the forefront of the World Stem Cell Summit in San Diego, December 4-6, as leaders from the Mayo Clinic Center for Regenerative Medicine along with over 1,200 attendees from more than 40 countries gather to explore disease updates, research directions, cell standardization, and regulatory pathways.

Regenerative medicine is a game-changing area of medicine with the potential to fully heal damaged tissues and organs, offering solutions and hope for people who have conditions that today are beyond repair. In the following video, Andre Terzic, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Mayo Clinic Center for Regenerative Medicine, describes how Mayo has embraced regenerative medicine as a strategy for the future of health care.
